This course begins the process of bringing unity and chronological sequence to New Testament study by weaving the contents of the books around a central theme---the person of Christ. Divisions are the synoptic Gospels, Gospel of John, Book of Acts, Pauline Epistles in chronological order, General Epistles, and Book of Revelation.

  • The Holy Bible (KJV preferred)
  • Survey of the New Testament by Paul N. Benware (ISBN 978-0-8024-2483-9)

Hermenuetics II, Interpreting the Holy Scriptures, is the science of principles regarding interpretation, and applying these principles to understant what God meant by what He said in His written Word.  In every aspect of interpreting Scriptures the process will involve Canonology, Historical Critism, Texual Critism, Hermeneutics, Exegesis, and Biblical Theology.  Hermeneutics II focuses on the hermeneutic principles of interpration.
